Commercial fire damage cleanup in Fayetteville and Northwest Arkansas

An office or warehouse fire costs you every hour the doors stay shut. Surfco responds at any hour and works with your insurance company to get you back to your routine.

Chapter 01

What an office or warehouse fire leaves behind

A fire in a business is rarely just the part that burned. Smoke and soot work their way into air ducts and the small crevices of an office or warehouse, and the water used to put the fire out soaks everything it touches. We know that time is money, so we work to get to you as quickly as we can, whatever the size of the loss.

Our fire restoration expert inspects and tests all areas of your business property to find the full extent of the fire, smoke and soot damage. We take soot samples and photos for your insurance company so they can properly reimburse you. Fire does not keep business hours, and neither does our response: call 479-287-6205 at any hour in Fayetteville or across Northwest Arkansas.

The same five stages, built around a working building

Unless the damage is very minimal, fire will damage or destroy walls, windows and roofing. We board up missing windows and walls and tarp damaged roofs, which secures the property and keeps the weather out. Then the water comes out. Removal starts immediately and takes most of it, and dehumidifiers and air movers dry whatever remains so the structure is ready for the next stage.

Cleaning and sanitizing uses professional cleaning solutions and fire damage restoration equipment, and depending on the severity of the fire it can take several days to a week or two. Air filtration devices with special charcoal filters cleanse the air, and we clean surfaces, contents and assets back to pre-loss condition.

Then the smell. If you have ever microwaved something for too long in the break room, you know how hard smoke odor is to get rid of. Surfco has over 70 years of combined experience removing it from commercial properties. We find every cause and neutralize it completely rather than masking it.

Chapter 03

Getting the business open again

We work with your insurance company to minimize the hassle and get your business property repaired quickly. Every aspect of the restoration and repair is ours to handle, so you can spend your time on customers and staff. Most of our clients are commercial: offices, retail stores, restaurants, apartments and healthcare facilities. Surfco holds Arkansas Commercial Contractor License 0359010427 and is licensed and insured for commercial and residential work.

Because Surfco is a restoration and construction company, the renovation, restoration and re-construction of whatever the fire damaged can happen under the same contract. That means one contractor from the first after-hours call to the day you reopen, and a property restored to its original form so you can get back to your routine.
