Commercial water damage and flood cleanup in Fayetteville and Northwest Arkansas

Every day your doors stay closed or your floor stays wet costs money. Surfco gets the water out, dries the building and rebuilds it, so a business owner deals with one contractor.

Chapter 01

An active leak in a business is a clock

Any downtime after a disaster in your business can cost you money. Surfco is locally owned, and disasters hit our own community too. If you have an active water leak at your Fayetteville or Northwest Arkansas business right now, call 479-287-6205. A crew is on standby 24/7, even on holidays.

Busted pipes, flood damage, fridge leaks: whatever the source, the first job is to find out how far the water has gone. As soon as you see a leak or anything out of the ordinary, call Surfco Restoration for a free inspection. If we find no damage, you do not pay a service call fee, and you know your business is protected.

Our water damage inspector is dispatched as soon as possible. They evaluate the damage, take moisture readings, and give you an estimate along with our honest read on whether your insurance is likely to cover it. You get the picture you need to decide what happens to the space and to the schedule.

When we come back to start work, carpet, padding, flooring and drywall are removed where necessary, water is extracted from exposed areas and drying equipment is set. Every day after that, we take moisture readings and relative humidity readings, so the decision that a room is dry rests on numbers.

Drying equipment heats the area more than normal and runs for long stretches, and it hums. We recommend moving any employees to other rooms, or even having them work from home for a few days if possible. You might also see your electric bill go up slightly while it runs.

Chapter 03

Insurance and the rebuild

A long-term leak, especially one with mold growing, is generally not covered unless you carry extra coverage, so calling early matters. Surfco works with your insurance company from the first visit, and our vans carry the line Direct Insurance Billing. The estimate tells you whether we believe your insurance will cover the damage.

Once the building is dry, Surfco replaces flooring, repairs drywall and paints. That means one contractor for owners, managers and tenants, working under Arkansas Commercial Contractor License 0359010427, backed by over 70 years of combined restoration experience in Northwest Arkansas.
